BELIZE CITY, Thurs. May 25, 2017–The Belize Rural Female Softball Tournament continued on Sunday, May 21, with 3 games played in Burrell Boom Village. In game 1, Power Outage (Crooked Tree) defeated Arrows United (Bermudian Landing), 21-2. Winning pitcher (WP) was Eyvette Flowers, and losing pitcher (LP) was Shawna Avilez. In game 2, Easy Does It won, 15-9, over Unity (Double Head). WP – Margaret Hendy; LP – Herlett Clarke. And game 3 saw Orchid Girls (Burrell Boom) with the 11-4 win over Beverly Hill Flames (Lord’s Bank). WP – Valorie Vernon; LP – Alberta Bailey.

Game this weekend will be in Double Head Cabbage.

Sunday, May 28
11:00 a.m. – Arrows United vs Beverly Hill Flames
1:00 p.m. – Power Outage vs Easy Does It
3:00 p.m. – Lords Bank Sunrise vs Unity Orchid Girls will be resting.
