BELIZE CITY, Thurs. June 21, 2018– Burrell Boom Village was the venue for Week 3 games in the Belize Rural North Football Tournament for the Edmond “Clear the Land” Castro Cup 2018. Below are the results:

In the U-16 opener, Carlston FC dropped K.C. Strikers, 3-0, on 2 goals by Ceon Augustine (52’ & 60’) and the other by Tasheed Henry (67’).

In game 2 (Senior), Sandhill New Site Warriors won by default (3-0) over Lake Rising Stars, who were a no-show.

Game 3 (Senior) saw Fabers Road United shut out Burrell Boom Dream Team, 3-nil, with a goal each from Dellon Belisle (41’) and Randy Franklin (76’), along with an own-goal by Burrell Boom’s William Tillett (32’ OG).

 And in game 4 (Senior), Lucky Strike FC beat Triple “L” Strikers, 1-0, on a first half goal by Keenan Gillett (36’).
The upcoming Week 4 games will be in Sandhill this Sunday.

10:00 a.m. – (U-16) Hattieville Riverside Boys vs Sandhill Youths
11:30 a.m. – (Sr.) Sandhill New Site Warriors vs Triple “L” Strikers
1:30 p.m. – (Sr.) Maskall United vs Sports Education FC
3:30 p.m. – (Sr.) Lucky Strike FC vs Fabers Road United
Nuff food, drinks & music from 10:00 a.m.

Entrance fee:  Adults – $3.00; Kids – FREE!
