Sagitun was awarded that goal, which put them up, 2-0. That?s how it ended. Sagitun, with two victories and 6 points, lead the tournament.

Meanwhile, at the Calcutta Field in Corozal, Cayo Avengers were rumbling with the homestanding Calcutta Bulls.

Twenty eight minutes into the ball game, Cayo Avengers? Everal Gabourel scored the first goal, but Froylan Guy responded for the Bulls 9 minutes later.

In Sunday?s game at MCC Grounds, Kulture Yabra defeated Print Belize Griga, 4-2, in a hotly contested match.

Both teams played a very physical game. In the 14thminute of the ball game Griga?s Ryan Simpson opened the scoring by splitting two defenders to score the game?s first goal. But 19 minutes later, Yabra scored back-to-back goals with one from Albert ?Tut? Thurton in the 33rdminute from the penalty spot, and then Wilhelm White in the 35thminute. In the 74thminute, Yabra midfielder, Edmund ?Dubu? Thomas, issued a pass to Daniel Thomas, who scored the City team?s 3rdgoal of the ball game. Nine minutes later Daniel Thomas scored again to give Yabra a 4-1 lead. Five minutes before regulation time, Griga?s Anthony Flores scored.
