The Central Secondary Schools Sports Association (CSSSA) 2022 Volleyball Championship culminated on Thursday and Friday, October 27 and 28, at the Mexico Center courts where the female and male championships were held on successive days. And the SCA girls and SJC boys maintained their dominance over the sport in their Central Zone.

The regular season was wrapped up on Thursday and Friday, October 20 and 21, with the following results.

Thurs. Oct. 20 – (F) BHS def. EPY, 25-15, 25-19; (F) PHS def. NHS, 26-28, 25-19, 25-8; and
(M) EPY def. GLH, 25-17, 25-18.

Fri. Oct. 21 – (F) SCA def. PHS, 25-7, 25-11; (M) SJC def. NHS, 25-17, 25-16.

PLAYOFF RESULTS

Mon. Oct. 24 – (F) SCA def. EPY, 25-4, 25-13, 25-9; (M) SJC def. WES, 25-8, 25-7, 25-14.

Tue. Oct. 25 – (F) BHS def. PHS, 25-12, 25-23, 25-14; (M) NHS def. EPY, 25-20, 25-15, 25-22.

Wednesday was a rest day for volleyball.

FEMALE VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Thurs. Oct. 27 – (3rd Place Match) (F) PHS def. EPY, 25-15, 25-11, 23-25, 22-25, 16-14; (Championship Match) (F) SCA def. BHS, 25-10, 25-20, 25-17.

MALE VOLLEYBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

Fri. Oct. 28 – (3rdd Place Match) (M) EPY def. WES, 25-10, 25-13, 25-16; (Championship Match) (M) SJC def. NHS, 25-9, 25-12, 25-16.
