Smart 13 & Under Mundialito Week 6 results

SportsSmart 13 & Under Mundialito Week 6 results

There are 10 teams in the Smart 13 & Under Mundialito, and with 6 weeks completed, there are only 3 weeks of regular season games remaining before the top 4 teams enter the semifinal knockout playoffs. Brown Bombers is in the “driver’s seat,” but United Rangers and Ladyville Japan are battling to stay in contention for a playoff spot. They meet this Saturday. (See standings below.)

In game 1 last Saturday, November 3, at the MCC Grounds, United Rangers dropped Young Stars, 4-0, with 2 goals from Tyreque Ciego and 1 each from Tyrel Thomas and July Barrientos. Game 2 was a 0-0 draw between Hattieville and Ladyville Japan. Third World won game 3 by default, as City Boys Junior was a no-show. In game 4, it was Brown Bombers, 3-0, over Jane Usher, Shemar Thomas netting 2 and Sherwin Requena 1 for the Bombers. Game 5 was another no-show, as St. John Vianney won by default over Ladyville Jaguars.

Week 7 schedule:

Saturday, November 10
11:00 a.m. – Brown Bombers vs City Boys Junior
11:50 a.m. – Young Stars vs Third World
12:40 p.m. – Jane Usher vs Ladyville Jaguars
1:30 p.m. – United Rangers vs Ladyville Japan
2:20 p.m. – Hattieville vs St. John Vianney
