Undefeateds – BDF vs F.C. Belize moved to Norman Broaster; Griga United vs Toledo Ambassadors postponed

SportsUndefeateds – BDF vs F.C. Belize moved to Norman Broaster; Griga United vs Toledo Ambassadors postponed
Following the interruption caused by Hurricane Richard this past weekend, three of the four scheduled games in the 2010 Caribbean Motors Cup have been moved forward to this coming weekend. But the venues will not all be the same.

The much anticipated clash of the undefeateds, Belize Defence Force vs F.C. Belize, has been moved from the MCC Grounds in Belize City to the Norman Broaster Stadium in San Ignacio. Their first meeting to end the 1st round of competition will in effect be a home game for league leading BDF; so their second meeting later in the season will be at the MCC, which is reportedly closed this week for repairs by the National Sports Council.

The Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga is also closed this week for repairs, so the game between Griga United and Toledo Ambassadors has again been postponed until sometime next week.

The other two matches will be played at their original venues.

Weekend Round 7 games:

Saturday, October 30
7:30 p.m. – Belmopan Blaze vs Hankook Verdes – Isidoro Beaton Stadium

Sunday, October 31
4:00 p.m. – San Felipe Barcelona vs San Pedro Sea Dogs – People’s Stadium
4:00 p.m. – Belize Defence Force vs F.C. Belize – Norman Broaster Stadium
