BELIZE CITY, Sat. Feb. 20, 2021– Police are investigating a shooting incident that took place on Partridge Street on Saturday. Reports are that 33-year-old Walter Longsworth was shot by an unknown male person while he was socializing in a yard on Partridge Street.
According to police, the gunman entered the yard and fired several shots in Longworth’s direction. Longsworth, who was injured by the bullets, was later taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH).
He is currently listed in a stable condition at the KHMH.
Police have not yet ascertained the motive for the shooting.
