Gerald Usher scored 17 points for BECOL in a losing effort, while David Reynolds scored 11 points.


In the second game, Young Veterans (4?3) defeated St. Ignatius (3?3) by a score of 55?43. Young Veterans were led by Douglas Smith, Paul Gillett and Andrew Haylock, as they opened up a 15-point lead in the first half.


In the second half, St. Ignatius was able to cut the deficit to 6 points, but that was the closest they would come. St. Ignatius? leading scorer was Allan Ifield with 20 points. Engelbert ?Squeaky? Haylock scored 18 points.


Young Veterans lead the overall standings with 13 points, followed by BECOL, St. Ignatius and Sacred Heart College with 12 points apiece.
