Dual Wagner was taken to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for treatment, but he died while at the hospital. Dr. Fernando Cuellar pronounced him dead at approximately 2:10 a.m.

Wagner?s mother, Elaine Montes, said that her son had left home that evening, just before 5:30.

?I am certain of the time, because I was waiting for my story [soap opera] to come on. Before he left, I asked him to please be home before 8:30-9:00,? Montes said. ?I went to sleep around 12:00, and was awakened at 2:00 when I heard a neighbor of mine shouting for me. He then told me that my son had been shot and was at the KHMH. In a haste to get ready, I even put on my clothes on the wrong side.?

The mother said that when she arrived at the hospital, a policeman greeted her and informed her that her son?s prognosis was not good.

?I was told by the doctor at 2:10 a.m. that he [my son] had died,? she said.

Wagner had accidentally stepped on a young man?s feet at Bismark Club, and the two got into a dispute over it, the mother later learned.

The shooter, reportedly in his 20?s, followed her son to the bathroom and shot him fatally in his head.

A post-mortem done on Wagner?s body at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, showed that he died of traumatic head shock, due to the gunshot wound.

Dual Wagner, better known as ?Coolas,? leaves behind his mother, two brothers, and three sisters. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, October 14, after funeral services at the St. Martin de Porres Church, at 3:00 p.m.

His body will lie in state at 2:00 p.m. Police have a suspect, but have not yet apprehended him.

Through Crime Stoppers, the Police Department is offering $1,000 reward for information leading to the suspect?s arrest. The Crime Stoppers hotline is 922.
