Belize Junior Cycling Team to St. Lucia for Caribbean Championships

BELIZE CITY, Thurs. July 28, 2016–The Belize National Junior Cycling Team leaves Belize today en route to Saint Lucia to compete in the 2016 Caribbean Junior Cycling Championships.  The Team comprises of 3 Juniors, 3 Youths and 3 Officials. We leave Belize on Thursday, arrive in St. Lucia on Friday, and depart on Tuesday, August 2.

The team will participate in a 40 mile road race for Youth and a 60 mile road race for Juniors, both to be held on Sunday. Apart from that, Kaydine Pinello and Patrick Williams will take part in the Individual Time Trial on Saturday.

Updates, pictures and videos for the races will be posted to the Cycling Federation’s Facebook page (cycling federation of BELIZE).

The total group is nine (9): Juniors – Kaydine Pinello, Ernesto Bradley and Nashen Ysaguirre; Youths – Patrick Williams, Gian Lino and Trajan Humes; Officials – Orson Butler (Vice President), Perry Gibson (National Team Coach), Dion Leslie (President).
