BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Sept. 5, 2019– The Queen of the Bay pageant was held last Friday night at the Bliss Institute, where seven beautiful young ladies competed for the prestigious title of the Miss Queen of the Bay.

In the end, however, Kimberly Santos, Miss Queen of the West, representing the Cayo District, won the title. She will be crowned Miss Queen of the Bay on September 10, during the official September 10 ceremonies at the Memorial Park, after which she will take part in the Citizens’ Parade throughout the principal streets of the city.

Queen of the Bay Santos will then travel to San Ignacio to take part in the Citizens’ Parade in that town, which will be held in the evening, in her honor.
Other contestants who did well in the pageant are Sabrina Coleman, who was  the 1st runner-up in the pageant. She represented the Stann Creek District, while the 2nd runner-up was Kiah Pastor, representing Belmopan and surrounding areas, and the 3rd runner-up was Aaliyah Pilgrim, who represented San Pedro.

Kimberly Santos was also declared Miss Photogenic. The new Miss Queen of the Bay graduated from Sacred Heart College, and is presently attending the University of Belize, pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in English, and her hobby is dancing. She is a member of the Western Heat Dance Group of San Ignacio.

 Kimberly Santos is the 74th Queen of the Bay.
