DANGRIGA, Stann Creek District, Thurs. Dec. 3, 2020– Renick Roy Robinson, 22, a labourer of Back-a-Town area, Dangriga Town, has been arrested and charged for the November 19 murder of fisherman Roger Blanco, 21, in Dangriga.

The attack took place in the Back-a-Town area of Dangriga at around 7:30 p.m.  Reports suggest that Blanco and Maxwell Ventura, 18, had gone to make purchases at a nearby shop when the two were accosted by two gunmen who opened fire on the men.

Blanco was hit multiple times and ran into nearby bushes at the corner of Mangrove Road and Yemeri Road, where he died.

Ventura told investigators that prior to the shooting, they had been followed by two dark-complexioned men.
