Thursday, 2nd January, 2020– C-Ray D. Banner Cycling Club started the New Year with our weekly Thursday race the day after the 30th annual KREM New Year’s Day Cycling Classic. Most of the elite riders were taking a rest, however our club caters for riders of all categories so without a second thought, the race was on. The race started in front of Data Pro on the Boom Hattieville Road and went to the Hattieville roundabout and back.
In first place from team Kulture was Vallan Symms, 2nd went to Riis Cattouse of C-Ray D. Banner, 3rd was Steven Robinson of Future Innovations, 4th Ray Cattouse of C-Ray D. Banner and rounding out the top 5 was Warren Coye of Team Santino’s.
Races will continue for all of 2020 on Thursdays and Saturdays weekly. There will also be Sunday Classics once a month. The first Club Classic for the New Year will be on January 26th; starting and finishing on the Philip Goldson Highway in Sandhill Village in front of the Cattouse Estates.
