Hi, our names are Danika and Keith Anderson, Jr., and Kenmore Martinez, Jr. Mr. Keith Anderson is my stepdad; he is Danika’s and Keith Jr.’s dad.
Mr. Keith Alexander Anderson
Age 44
D.O.B August 2, 1965
My dad met his wife Mrs. Tricia Anderson 4 ½ years now. They lived together one year before they took us in, I, Keith Jr. and Danika. My dad has (7) seven of us; my step mom only has (1) one child, Kenmore, age 11. We all range from my oldest sister, Carette, 23, Danika, 17, Keith, 16, Denisha, 13, Joshua, 11, and Darien, 11, from another mother, and Keoni, 10.
After two years in my dad’s relationship, he came down with a very complicated migraine. He worked at Belize Water Services for 20 years; he was forced to resign, when he spent one year at home. During that time he realized that he can’t stay at home, because he has six of us in school still. My dad he is so devoted to us and a big provider too; finally he got a job at a pizza place, Peppers Pizza, where he has been delivering pizza since February ‘09 to keep us all in school and a roof over our head.
It is three of us in high school and three in primary school; he is working so hard for us on his motorbike delivering pizzas. Well my stepmom, she is always there for us in everything. She just bought me my prom dress. They are so there for us; they are even there for my big sister too who has four kids. My dad he is a real big provider for us, he pays all of our school fees, and gets everything ready for us each school year, even extra classes when we need them.
So you Krem this is why he is deserving of this weekend getaway: It is rough to see him doing all this and we still stress him out (lol). Yeah, that’s true – we stress them out; that’s our job to do that (lol).
As for my stepmom, she was born with Cancer in the blood – that they call (sickle cell) Leukemia. She is 32 now and doing all she can for us and my stepbrother. Well, up to now my dad is still suffering with the migraine and working all in the rain, and you imagine, delivering pizzas in the rain on a motorbike, just to give us a good education and keep us away from all the violence that is happening now in our country, beautiful Belize.
The way I see it, my dad will never put us down, and about two months now my dad and my stepmom took in three other kids – my stepmom’s niece and nephew due to circumstances. And they will be living with us now; my stepmom only has one child and five others she is taking care of, including me and my brother. It’s rough for us cause my dad has to work extra hours because he doesn’t want them to go to children’s home, so it’s like his six kids that are in school, plus the other three, and my stepbrother. Ten of us kids he is caring for, and got all of us in school and he talks to us about the street, crime and violence, even HIV and other STDs. He’s a good man; I love him, although we don’t often say it to him but we want him to know that we all love him and we appreciate all what he is doing for us. We love you Dad. Thanks a lot. He is always giving and never receiving except from his wife. We love you!!! Happy Father’s Day.
Love all your kids
