Into the unknown!

We who live in the less developed countries will be the lucky ones in, let’s say, the next 10 years, in my opinion. Why, because we will still need humans to do blue collar and white-collar jobs. We will still be interacting with our friends and neighbors; we will still have laborers and fishermen. We will still have stable relationships and marriages with our contemporaries; by that I mean, with other human beings. We will still be planting and growing our food, building our houses, policing ourselves instead of robocops doing the job. Then again, maybe the robots wouldn’t discriminate; maybe they would not see color and station when making an arrest; maybe we wouldn’t even need SOEs anymore. I don’t know about teachers; I believe they will be the first to be replaced by artificial intelligence.

The college graduates of 2025 in developed countries, in the United States, and Japan and China in particular, are already facing unemployment, even before they are employed. AI is being developed at such an advanced rate, much faster than we could have imagined even a year ago, that prospects are dwindling for some of the brightest minds who are about to embark on their careers. Statistics show that jobs that were once readily available are becoming increasingly scarce, thanks to AI, the new bogeyman. Wat a ting!

In places like Japan and China, which are already experiencing precipitous decline in population growth, AI has become another obstacle to stimulating that growth. Think about it. Young people are already in deep relationships with AI, even marrying them. They don’t have to date or suffer abuse or insecurities from their partners anymore. Their other halves can now be made to their specifications, in every way. And after the purchase, they are much cheaper to afford. I know it sounds cold and lifeless, but to each his own, I guess.

We, as a society, are too busy to see this creeping phenomenon that is about to take over and make us all live our lives differently. Where we won’t have to do anything but issue commands, or punch data into an all-purpose machine, and oula: sh*t gets done immediately. It is already all around us; we are just not yet drowning in the reality of this new age. Remote control, gone! Maps, gone. Compasses and locks and keys, simple things, are becoming obsolete. Hello, Siri.

I see a future where they will have women as breeders and not as partners or wives or companions. I don’t mean for everyone; but as populations dwindle, there will be top premiums paid for having children, in my humble opinion. It will become an industry—no partner necessary to accomplish the task, artificial insemination will do. Baby factories will become a booming industry, and babies will fetch high prices; after all, they are humans, no? So, the rich will get first dibs on the healthiest and most beautiful children, and the rest of us will settle for the leftovers.

My proposition is that Donald Trump is a savior to 3rd World countries. As Trump and other European countries block entry for those from sh*thole countries, we in those countries will prosper as we produce an invaluable resource, more black and brown babies, more humans. But let’s keep that a secret; we don’t want him to invade and castrate us. We will thrive because we cannot afford AI; we will have to do it the old-fashioned way, the backbreaking way, and we will be happy! Happy, because we will be exporting and making much money off those precious exports, once scorned, a now valuable necessity to the West. We will be envied by a supposedly advanced race without a soul, or sex, or empathy, or passion.

That is, until AI and the robots take over completely. Then we are all screwed. Wat a ting!!
