BELIZE CITY, Mon. July 8, 2019– Four games were played on Saturday, July 6, to end the regular season in the 2019 Smart 13 & Under Mundialito 2018-2019 Closing Season.

In game 1, Sampson Academy shut out Ladyville Warriors, 4-0, with 3 goals from Devin McCaulay and the other from Richard Bowen. The win, putting their season tally to 15 points, secures the 8th playoff spot for Sampson Academy, who trailed 8th place Ladyville Warriors by 2 points (14 pts to 12 pts) going into Saturday’s final regular season games.

Game 2 saw Ladyville Rising Stars with the 2-0 win over defending champions, Reality Youth, courtesy of a goal each from Marvin Card and Kenrick Gordon.

In the third game, Kenyon Pratt scored the only goal, to give Elite Jr. the 1-0 win over Warriors FC.

And in game 4, Heights FC and City Boys played to a nil-nil draw.

The playoffs start on Saturday, July 13 at the MCC.
