Both league leaders lost yesterday in Week 13 of the 2010 BPFL Caribbean Motors Cup Tournament, and that also means that defending champion Belize Defence Force (BDF) are no longer undefeated. For 2nd place F.C. Belize, who were without their leading striker, Nigerian Christian Okonkwo, it was their second loss.
At the People’s Stadium on Saturday night, it was San Felipe Barcelona, 2-1, over Belize Defence Force. Here in Belize City, visiting Toledo Ambassadors dropped F.C. Belize, 4-3. Meanwhile, at the FFB Field in Belmopan, Griga United clipped Belmopan Blaze, 1-nil.
