In game 1 on Friday night, September 27, Old Road Arsenal dropped Hattieville United, 3-1, with goals from Delwin Jones, Charles Cantun and Sydney Bradley; while Mason Moya scored for Hattieville. Game 2 saw Kephawn Pawn return with a bang, out-slugging Ladyville United by a 5-3 score. Dalton Cayetano had a hat trick (3 goals) for Kephawn, with teammates Kenroy Martin and Albert Thurton netting one goal apiece; for Ladyville, David Ramos and Leon Sedacey each scored a goal.

The opener on Saturday, September 28, saw Ebony Lake with a 2-1 win over Third World. Jermaine Zuniga and Carlos Lino shook the net for Ebony Lake, while Denroy McKoy got the goal for Third World. In game 2, marathon champions West Lake had little difficulty disposing of Kulture Yabra, 4-1, with 2 goals from Milhem Hernandez and 1 each from Marshall Nunez and Delroy Andrews. The lone tally for Kulture Yabra was by Edward Rubio. And in the nightcap, it was Fort George United, 3-1, over Tulish FC. Jahron Myvette, Henry Gillett and Michael Perrera got a goal apiece for Fort George, while Roni Sagastume scored for Tulish.

In the only Mayor’s Cup game played on Sunday, September 30 (after the semi pro match), Complex Admirals got the 3-1 win over Caye Caulker Tsunami, courtesy of a goal apiece from Sanjay Pitts, Gilbert Gomez and Jamal Ford. Caye Caulker’s only goal was by Walder Castaneda.

Tournament coordinator Ken Vasquez said they plan to have 2 games each on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The details will be announced later; but the first game kicks off on Friday night at 7:00 p.m., while the action commences at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
