Over $25,000 stolen from San Pedro-based business

CrimeOver $25,000 stolen from San Pedro-based business

The American business owner says she suspects her 2 ex-managers

Over $25,500 was siphoned out of a sausage company based in San Pedro, on Coco Plum Drive, and it is suspected that two former managers of the company stole the funds. The manager and assistant manager have been fired, and a formal report has been made to the San Pedro police by the company owner, Christina Askew, an American businesswoman of Santa Monica, California.

Askew told police that she conducted an internal audit on her company after firing the two managers, and the audit revealed that money amounting to $25,577.66 had been stolen. She strongly suspects her two fired managers, she told police.

The two men were fired on Friday, March 14. Police have since launched an investigation into the suspected embezzlement.
