There were goals galore on Saturday evening in Week 3 of the Super League of Belize SMART Challenge Cup 2011 1st Division football tournament at the MCC Grounds in Belize City.
   
In the first game starting at 3:30 p.m., Atlantic Insurance dropped City Boys United, 4-2, with Jamal Martinez (19 & 59 min) and Bryan Martinez (49 & 75 min) netting two goals apiece for the winners. City Boys got goals from Shawn Thurton (68 min) and Mark Grant (70 min).
   
Game 2 at 5:30 p.m. was target practice for West Lake, as they bombed King’s Park FC, 12 goals to 2, with both Leon Cadle (28, 30, 33 min) and Jarret Davis (68, 75, 77 min) registering hat tricks, and Wayne Miller (56, 70 min) striking twice for Lake. Other Lake scorers were Leon Jones (12 min), Ellon Faber (20 min), Joshua Salam (34 min) and Melhem Hernandez (84 min). Scoring for King’s Park were Ismael Leon (57 min) and Edwin Castro (59 min).
   
The nightcap match at 7:30 p.m. was more of the same, with Ebony Lake shelling Atlantic Bank, 9-1. David Robateau (9, 18, 30 min) scored a hat trick, with John Castro (31, 41 min) and Kenroy Martin (56, 81 min) netting two goals each, and Phillip Lamp (12 min) and Densmore Edwards (66 min) adding one apiece for Ebony Lake. The late consolation goal for Atlantic Bank was by Jorge Estrada (82 min). 
   
Schedule for Saturday, February 26:
3:00 p.m. – Brown Bombers vs Kelly Street
5:00 p.m. – KHMH Authority vs Ebony Lake
7:00 p.m. – Yabra F.C. vs Atlantic Insurance
