BELIZE CITY, Mon. Feb. 17, 2025

Survivors FC will challenge the undefeated defending champions Tut Bay FC in the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) First Division championship final scheduled tentatively for Saturday, February 22, after eliminating the Reggae Boyz 3-2, in the semifinals, which were played behind closed doors (no fans), at the Football Federation of Belize stadium in Belmopan last Thursday night, February 13.

Tut Bay FC – undefeated defending BDFA 1st Division champions

The Survivors qualified with goals by Sanja “Son-son” Pitts, Jr. (24’), Tyrique “Hammer” Ciego (86’) and Cion Augustine (90+4’) despite conceding a penalty converted by Jaymion Cacho (43’) and an auto-goal by defender David Robateau (83’), which gave the Reggae Boys a 2-1 lead in the 2nd half.

The BDFA will announce the time and venue for the finals, when appropriate security protocols are in place to allow fans to all enjoy the game.
