BDFA Inter-Office Week 5 scores and standings

BELIZE CITY, Mon. Dec. 12, 2016–The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Inter-Office tournament continued last week with Week 5 games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

In the only game on Tuesday, December 6, National Aggregates and BWS played to a 4-4 draw. Shaking the net for Aggregates were Kendale Esquiliano (63’), Andre Alvarado (52’) and Faisae Ahmad (44’ & 62’); while BWS got goals from Israel Canul (47’), Edmund Pandy (67’), Ashley Hemsley (37’) and Orland Lyons (35’).

Game 1 on Wednesday, December 7, saw Belize Bank Ltd. with the 2-1 win over BTL. Francisco Briceno (55’ & 69’) struck twice for Belize Bank, while Henry Mejia (70’) tallied for B T L. And in the nightcap, it was KHMH, 5-2, over Smart. Sharing the scoring for KHMH were Julius Allen (55’), Errol Sutherland (47’ & 62’) and Zebedee Moore (21’ & 31’); while Smart got a goal each from Stepen Baeza (68’) and Albert Kisling (28’).

In the opener on Thursday night, December 8, Belize City Council (BCC) and Tourist Village played to a 1-1 stalemate. Anthony Arnold (7’) gave Tourist Village the early lead, but Kent Gabourel (49’) equalized for BCC. And in the nightcap, Latino’s FC bombed RF&G Insurance, 4-0, with goals from Byron Lopez (27’), David Ellis (31’), Yancy Ek (61’) and Kenber Staine (68’).
