BELIZE CITY, Mon. Jan. 29, 2018– The Belize National Cricket Association (BNCA) had to postpone its season opening of the Sir Barry Bowen, Harrison Parks 2018 Cricket Marathon this past weekend due to inclement weather. The schedule of matches has been pushed forward to this coming weekend at the same venue, Isabella Bank, on February 3 and 4, starting at 9:00 a.m. daily.
Two more teams have stepped forward to participate in the Marathon, Wicked 11 and Bright Star, who will face each other in game 5 on Saturday.

Saturday, February 3
1st game – Summer Fever vs Sunrise
2nd game – Western Eagles vs Uprising
3rd game – Excellence vs Police
4th game – Easy Does It vs Brilliant
5th game – Wicked 11 vs Bright Star
Sunday, February 4
1st game – Berlan vs BDF
2nd and 3rd games – to be determined by Saturday’s winners
First prize for the Marathon is $600.00; and second prize is $400.00.
The regular season commences the following weekend.
