OWFA Amateur Opening Season Week 4 results

ORANGE WALK TOWN, Mon. July 24, 2017–The Orange Walk Football Association (OWFA) Amateur 1st Division Opening Season 2017 continued over the weekend with 4 Week 4 games played at the People’s Stadium on Sunday, July 23. In game 1, San Estevan FC and Desert Storm Jr. played to a 1-1 draw. Arnold Henriquez (8’) gave Desert Storm the early lead, but Edwani Munoz (45’) equalized for San Estevan. In the game 2 slug fest, Trial Farm Athletics FC prevailed, 8-3, over Crystal FC. Sharing the scoring for Trial Farm were Hughson Baptist (7’, 20’, 26’ and 58’), Darren Petillo (62’ & 80’), Emil Usher (13’) and Oliver Hendricks (67’); while Crystal got a goal each from Nazim Nair Aldana (18’), Jahein R. Augustine (62’) and Osman Chan (85’). In game 3, Progresso FC got the 5-3 win over Progresso United. Progresso FC got 2 goals from Gabriel Perez (40’ & 86’) and 1 apiece from Raheem Eagan (35’), Richard Gillett (44’) and Ian Chi (85’); while all 3 Progresso United goals were by Hector Carlos (57’, 70’ & 88’). And in game 4, Sinbad FC bombed Trinidad FC, 5-0, with goals from Jason Williams (59’ & 65’), Adimael Patt (74’) and Axel Jones (87’), along with an own goal by Trinidad FC’s Aaron Allen (57’ OG).
