It has been announced that Sr. Superintendent David Chi has taken over command of Precinct 1 police and he is replaced as Commander of Precinct 4 police by Sr. Superintendent Linden Flowers, who was Commander of the GSU.

Inspector Mark Flowers, who was Commander of Placencia police, is now the new Commander of the GSU.

Senior Superintendent Alden Dawson takes over command of Precinct 2 police from Sr. Superintendent Alford Grinage, who has been sent to the Department of Police Operations.

Sergeant Fredrick Gordon, Operations Manager for the Orange Walk police, has been promoted to the post of Inspector and sent to Ladyville, where he takes over command of Ladyville police and the Belize rural area.
