Carlos Mendez, 46, of Belmopan, was traveling along with his wife, Sarina Mendez, and their children and a family member to Belmopan from the city at about 9:00 Sunday night, and upon reaching an area between Miles 17 and 18 on the George Price Highway, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction suddenly swerved into his lane. To avoid a collision, he swerved to the right, off the road and as a result, flipped over.

Mendez’s vehicle ended up with four wheels in the air, causing his vehicle to sustain damage to the windshield, roof and windows.

The vehicle is a Mitsubishi L-200 pickup truck with L/P Bmp C-04325.
