Vehicle collision in San Ignacio

Four vehicles collided on Buena Vista Road in San Ignacio, but no one was hurt. One of the vehicles lurched into a nearby drain. The incident occurred about 2:30 this afternoon.

According to reports, a pickup truck was travelling on Buena Vista Road when the driver lost control and slammed into a vehicle that was parked on the roadside; that vehicle slammed into another vehicle that slammed into another vehicle, and the fourth vehicle was sent into the nearby drain.

Police have launched an investigation. The driver of the pickup truck reported that the brakes of his vehicle failed.
