Sports3rd Annual City Boys Grassroots Tournament starts Saturday

BELIZE CITY, Mon. Feb. 18, 2019– The City Boys Football Club is currently hosting its 3rd Annual Grassroots 10 & Under Football Tournament 2019.

Theme: “To develop the Game”

This year’s tournament will consist of 8 teams – Warriors FC, St. John Vianney, Belize United FC, City Boys Jr., Ladyville Rising Stars, Carlston Elite, Reality Youths, and Poor & Famous.

Venue: Cumberbatch Football Field (Cor. Fabers Road & Caesar Ridge)

The competition is scheduled to start this Saturday, February 23.

Each team can register up to 16 players or a minimum of 12 in order to play. Ages 7-10 years old.

The Games will be 7 vs 7, and will consist of 3 periods (1st period – first 7 players; 2nd period – second 7 players; and 3rd period – best 7 players), with 15 minutes per period running time.
