According to Corozal police, they visited Andy?s home last night at about 7:15, where they saw his lifeless body. Andy was removed, and was taken to the Corozal hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. A post-mortem is scheduled for today, said police. According to Raymond Hall, 67, he last saw Andy at about 8:00on Tuesday morning before leaving for Belize City. It was when he returned that evening from Belize City, at around 6:00, that he made the shocking discovery. According to Raymond, upon reaching home, he realized that something was wrong, because he was unable to gain entry into the house. As they both shared the same house keys, he then had to kick in the door, and then he saw Andy handing from the ceiling of the living room, clothed only in blue underwear. Raymond said that an electrical cord for a fan was seen around his neck, and immediately he called the police, who responded immediately. Raymond said that the last time Andy was seen alive was sometime around 4:00 p.m. that day when neighbors saw him coming from a shop with bread in his hand. Andy was adopted by Hall at the age of 7, as both his parents died when he was a baby. Having no children, Hall adopted Andy, and said that they had a very close relationship. Unemployed, Andy was a cyclist, his father said. The last thing he did that morning was to give Andy some money for lunch before leaving for Belize City. Now a sad father is trying to find out why his son killed himself. Andy had participated in the Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic on Easter Saturday, and had always aimed to became a champion one day, said his father. He rode in the elite category, and had received many trophies for his excellent performances. Funeral services for Andy David Hall are scheduled for Thursday in Corozal. Andy leaves to mourn only his father, Raymond Hall, as he had no siblings.
