Yabra gun di come!

GeneralYabra gun di come!
The family of Andrew Moses, 27, an employee of the Ministry of Works, is grieving his loss to gun violence tonight. Moses was gunned down in front of the Port Loyola Calvary Chapel sometime before 5 p.m. today. He leaves behind a host of family and friends who are, at this point, angry and reluctant to speak to the media.

Amandala spoke to police press officer, Fitzroy Yearwood, who told us that Moses was walking on Kraal Road coming from the Caesar Ridge Road intersection. He said that Moses had just arrived in the vicinity of the intersection of Ross Penn Road and Kraal Road when a gunman (whose identity is unknown, and whose method of transportation is also unknown at this early point in the investigation) approached him.

Yearwood said that the police have found out that Moses attempted to run away when he saw the man, but was shot several times. The number of bullets that hit Moses is unknown at this time.

Moses was transported to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

We found out from a family member that he died as a result of a gunshot wound to the chest area, which may have found its mark near his heart.

Yearwood also said that the area which Moses was shot is densely populated and there must have been someone who saw something. He asked that any member of the public who saw what happened, contact the Police Department about what they observed, no matter how small the details.
