BELIZE CITY–The Cycling Federation of Belize today released the results of the 2014 Belize City Council/Leslie’s Imports September Criterium, which took place yesterday, Sunday, September 14, on the Albert & Regent Streets Circuit.

The event began at 10:30 in the morning with the Youth Program races for various youth age categories; while the big races, for Female, Junior, Masters and Open Senior/Elite were held in the afternoon.

Here are the top finishers in each category:

YOUTH PROGRAM RACES
5 Years and Under – 1st place Kyron Staine; 2nd Kaelie Burgess; 3rd Jayden Tillett; 4th Damine Myles.
Female – 1st place Kaelie Burgess; 2nd Jadah Muschamp.
6-7 Years – 1st place Zaheem Gentle; 2nd Harry Mahler.
8-10 Years – 1st place Derek Brown; 2nd Jahmai Scott; Jose Guerra; 4th Cuba Perrote.
11-13 Years – 1st place Derrick Chavarria; 2nd Shemar Davis; 3rd Wilbert Carbajal; 4th Manuel Guerra.

Open Category 16 Years & Under
Male – 1st place Kaydin Pinello; 2nd Darien Anderson; 3rd Shawn Codd; 4th Anthony Marin.
Female – 1st place Paulita Chavarria; 2nd Jamie Muschamp.

AFTERNOON RACES
Junior Category (10 laps) – 1st place Keion Robateau (BECOL Uprising); 2nd Tariq Flowers (Benny’s Megabytes); 3rd Kaydin Pinello (BECOL Uprising); 4th Delon Gentle (BECOL Uprising); 5th Zahir Figueroa (BECOL Uprising).
Youth Category – 1st place Kaydine Pinello; 2nd Darien Anderson.
Masters Category – 1st place Jose Choto (C-Ray Road Addikz); 2nd Liam Stewart (Benny’s Megabytes); 3rd Leroy Casasola (BTL).
Female Category (15 laps) – 1st place Kaya Cattouse (SMART C-Ray); 2nd Alicia Thompson (Belize Bank Swoosh); 3rd Kerah Eiley (Unattached).
4/5 Category – 1st place Kent Gabourel (Benny’s Megabytes); 2nd Preston Martinez (SMART); 3rd Wilbert Jones (Benny’s Megabytes).
Elite Category (30 laps) – 1st place Oscar Quiroz, Jr. (Western Spirit); 2nd Darnell Barrow (SMART); 3rd Giovanni Lovell (BTL); 4th Nissan Arana (Predators); 5th Gregory Lovell (BTL).
