HATTIEVILLE, Belize District, Mon. May 6, 2019– Charles Usher, 37, the manager of a security company in Teakettle, was driving his pickup to Burrell Boom from Teakettle,on Saturdaywhen he lost control of the vehicle at Mile 19 on the George Price Highway, near Hattieville, and the pickup ran off the road and overturned. Usher was flung from the vehicle and he suffered massive head and body injuries and died on the scene.

Reliable information to us is that he was traveling to Burrell Boom, Belize District, to visit his girlfriend, when the unfortunate accident that claimed his life occurred. We are told that he recently became engaged to his fiancé and they were shortly to have been married. Charles Usher was the person in charge of the security of the Dream Valley Resort, in Teakettle.

His family said that he was a careful driver and are at a loss as to what could have happened.

Police have not completed their investigation into what caused this latest road traffic accident in Belize.
