I was watching a news program where the ex-mayor of New Orleans, Mitch Landrieu, called what is happening in California and elsewhere in America, hunger games. If you haven’t read any of the books which bear that name or seen the movies, it is about an America in the future where children hunt and kill each other for sport and reward. It is not a sport for fun, but for survival. You do not have a choice; it’s kill or be killed. I actually loved those movies, the imagination of the author, and also because, of course, it was pure fantasy. Or was it? But Mr. Landreiu nailed it perfectly. The Hunger Games have become reality under the pseudo dictatorship of the crimson one. El TACO ROJO!

Trump and his Igor, Stephen Miller, and his disciple, Tom Homan, all descendants of immigrants, are on a mission to purge America of brown people. There are smatterings of blacks and Asians being rounded up, but it is mostly people from the Americas who are being singled out! Male, female, children, babies, doesn’t matter; if you habla Espanol, you are a target. Tom Homan, who seems to revel in the fear and suffering of those being targeted, has his ICE agents invading schools, hospitals, farms, stores, restaurants, churches, bedrooms, buses, immigration offices, even courtrooms, to get rid of the “vermin” who they believe are infecting this land of its freedom and liberty. Maybe this article should be called “The Purge”, instead.

Taco Man has sent troops into Los Angeles under false pretenses, rehearsing for his eventual takeover of the United States, by force, in my opinion. He is trying to gaslight us, with the help of the right-wing media, into believing that there is some imminent threat to the citizens of Los Angeles, of the United States, when in truth it was only a handful of protesters railing against the treatment of the undocumented migrants who are here to make America prosper again. These MAPAS work their asses off, doing the work REAL Americans refuse to do; they pay taxes and mostly can’t reap those benefits which taxpayers are entitled to! Wat a ting!

I believe that because of his incompetence, his many bankruptcies, his failed tariffs, because of his Tacoismo—by the way, TACO means Trump Always Chickens Out—this will all backfire; but in the meantime, he’s destroying our way of life anyway. Some of this will stick, and America will eventually become that banana republic it so despises.

Donald Trump does not believe in freedom of speech, the freedom of citizens to protest peacefully. He does not think that he is ever wrong, when in truth he is never right. He sides with cowards and despots and murderers and swindlers and conmen, like he is. He tries to project a strength that only magnifies his own weaknesses, his pettiness, his shortcomings. He talks about lawlessness, and yet he pardoned 1,500 lawless criminals who tried to overthrow a government. They looted America’s most sacred spaces, defecated on and destroyed the inside of the Capitol. This was when he should have called out the National Guard, when police were being attacked, with some succumbing to the effects of those attacks. But instead, he sat in front of his televisions, and did nothing for a few hours. Law and order my black a*s!

Now, while he’s mismanaging the affairs of the state, he seeks to change the subject by militarizing our cities and states. How long do you think it will take the public to start resisting? They already are, peacefully and strategically. He is looking for any excuse to take us deeper into the darkness of authoritarianism; that is his goal, to be the TACO-in-Chief, forever.

I worry about the courts, our only guardrail against this red terror. I worry that they might become overwhelmed by his barrage of illegalities, and that they will just surrender to the sheer force of his lawlessness!

I never thought that in modern-day America people would have to be hiding, living in fear, being hunted like animals. We now have a new Underground Railroad, hosted by churches and private citizens, protecting the modern-day Anne Franks. And they don’t become trophies; they are disappeared, like they never existed!

Be afraid, be very afraid! Then do something.
