Alvian Strikers – 2x BDFA 2025 Under-15 Female Football Champions

The Belize District Football Association (BDFA) held a belated awards ceremony for the 2x Under-15 female football champions – Alvian Strikers at Berger Field in Belize City on Sunday evening, July 6, after the Alvian girls had won their 2nd BDFA title at Berger Field just over a month earlier on Saturday, May 31.

Royal Fusion – BDFA 2025 Under-15 Female Football Sub-Champions
The Alvian Strikers had clinched their 2nd championship by a 4-2 penalty shootout over Royal Fusion, after playing to a 2-2 draw in regulation time. In regulation, Treniece Amaya’s brace (2’ & 38’) had twice put the Strikers ahead, but Shaquia Reynolds (14’) and then Clayian Swazo (39’) had equalized each time for Fusion. In penalties, Aisha Reyes, Treniece Amaya, Charika Humes and Li-Audra Graham had converted for Alvian Strikers, while only Clayian Swazo and Sheren Humes scored for Royal Fusion.

The KP Strikers had won 3rd place, 5-4, over Ladyville Goal Getters, also in a penalty shootout, after a 1-1 draw in regulation, where Goal Getters’ goalkeeper Amarqua Arnold (6’) scored first, but Adriani Martinez’s free kick (8’) knotted the score at 1-1 for KP Strikers. In penalties, Jade Martinez, Yazerah Nuñez, Ashlee Smith, Aaliyah Moro and Kaylee Leslie converted for the Strikers; while only Taneisha Card, Nahlya Chavarria, Kyferia Lino and Audylissa “Treasure” Bowen scored for the Goal Getters.
After her duties with the BTB U-10 and U-13 championships, CEO Nicole Usher also presented team trophies and individual awards to the BDFA U-15 Female champions, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
