BELMOPAN, Mon. Sept. 12, 2022

On Friday, September 9, the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) signed an agreement with Asante Kotoko Football Club, champions of the Ghana Premier League last season, and currently the #1 ranked club in Ghana.

The agreement signed will see the Ghanan club visit Belize between the 15th and 30th November 2022 to participate in a pair of International Friendlies against the Jaguars. This agreement is important not only for football, but it also allows a unique opportunity for tourism and cultural exchange for both countries.

Mayor of Belmopan Her Worship Ms. Sheran Palacio was instrumental in the realization of this agreement.

The Football Federation of Belize takes this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to the Asante Kotoko Team and all the fans who will be travelling to Belize in November.
