BELMOPAN, Tue. Oct. 4, 2016–The Belmopan Football Association’s, (BFA) Kids, Female and Youth Cup 2016 Closing Tournament, sponsored by Hon. John Saldivar continued with Week 6 games over the weekend at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium.

In game 1 on Saturday, starting at 9:00 a.m., (U-13) Mountain View Revolution dropped Bandits, 2-1, with Allen Umana (8’ & 15’) netting both goals for Mountain View, while Allen Jones (32’) scored for the Bandits. In game 2, (U-13) Police Cadets bombed Armenia Red Dragon, 7-1, with goals coming from Alexander Waight (5’), Deron Guzman (12’), Dion Guzman (14’), Joseph Linarez (17’ & 21’) and Javier Ramos (24’), along with an own goal by Armenia’s Kenny Garcia (28’ auto goal); while Bryan Medrano (42’) got the lone goal for Armenia. In game 3, it was Piccini Rising Star, 4-1, over Salvapan FC. Piccini goals were by Michichal Duane (7’), Payravaughn Guy (31’), Herman Martinez (38’) and Antwone Lewis (41’); while Nigel Hernandez (43’) scored for Salvapan. Game 4 (Female U-17) saw Valley of Peace Girls with the 3-1 win over San Martin Medina’s Girls. Shaking the net for Valley of Peace Girls were Glendy Arevalo (15’) and Angelica Magana (35’ & 40’), while Ashly Rodriguez (45’) got the sole tally for San Martin Medina’s Girls. In game 5, (U-13) YWAM Valencia defeated Las Flores Latin Boys, 3-1, with a goal apiece from Javan Belisle (14’), Zylin Flowers (24’), and Reed Ho (42’); while Lucas Cruz (37’) scored for Las Flores. And in game 6, it was Spanish Lookout, 1-nil, over San Martin Medina’s, with Warren Dyck (5’) scoring the winning goal.

On Sunday, the action commenced at 9:30 a.m. with game 1, and it was (U-15) San Martin Medina’s and Bandits playing to a 1-1 stalemate. Frybin Pagoada (4’) put San Martin in front, but Jovaunn Ramos (46’) equalized for the Bandits. In game 2, (U-15) Mountain View Revolution got the 3-1 win over Las Flores Latin Boys. Mountain View got a goal each from Brent Dubon (2’), Jahmani Hope (16’) and Antwone Baptist (23’); while Las Flores’ goal was by Ronaldo Pineda (17’). Game 3 was a similar score, as (U-15) Piccini Rising Stars won, 3-1, over Salvapan FC. Piccini goals were by Albert Navarette (8’) and Daijon Daniels (21’ & 30’), while Edgar Abrego (38’) scored for Salvapan. In game 4, (U-17) San Martin Medina’s drew, 1-1, with Bandits. Orlin Lopez (35’) hit the target for San Martin, while Edwin Ramos (45’) tallied for Bandits. Game 5 saw (U-17) YWAM Valencia shutting out Valley of Peace, 4-0, with goals from Jalen Myers (5’ & 38’), Christian Bush (24’) and Corey Gomez (40’). And in game 6, (U-17) Mountain View Revolution got the 1-0 victory over Salvapan FC with a goal from Jack Arenivar (41’).
