COROZAL TOWN, Mon. Nov. 25, 2019– Another successful week of our ongoing Corozal Football Association (CFA) Opening Season Youth Tournament 2019-2020. This week marks the 10th week of the tournament. As we are coming to a closure, the tension in the games is rising, as everyone is giving their utmost best in wanting to be part of the move to the semifinals. We are grateful to the Almighty Father for His continued blessings upon our office and participating teams. On Sunday, November 24, we had a total of 8 games, i.e. 2 U10, 2 U13, 2 U20 and 2 1st Division. We are pleased to report that all went well. It has been seven successful weeks.

Small Field games
U-10 – Carolina Jaguars won by default (3-0) over Calcutta Strikers.
U-10 – Bacadia Warriors won, 1-0, over Corozal Rising Stars.
Big Field games
U-13 – Concepcion Majestics crushed BDF Cadets, 7-0, with goals from Edrei Cob (2’, 27’ & 47’), Rodiel Cob (12’), Alexis Mendez (20’ & 41’) and Ismael Cano (43’).
U-13 – Falcons won, 2-0, over Corozal Invaders with goals by Milton Flores (27’) and Carlos Novelo (33’).
U-20 – Corozal Rural beat Bacadia Warriors, 2-0, with goals by Kriss Galicia (2’) and Josue Chanax (59’).
U-20 – United Ballers edged Chunox FC, 2-1, with a goal each from Troy Williams (12’) and Ricky Acosta (35’); while Chunox’ goal was by Andrik Tun (2’).
1st Division Amateur – Corozal Young Starz shut out Valley Pride Corozal, 3-0, with goals from George James (17’), Leonardo Jones (34’) and Luis Sanchez (80’).
1st Division Amateur – The San Antonio NGO vs Ranchito Warriors game stands at 3-2. It still has pending 25 minutes.
