It’s been six years since Krem television came on air, and there’s no slowing down for the personnel who make up the television crew.
“Show weSelf! See weSelf! Be weSelf!” is the slogan adopted by the station as a representation of their commitment and dedication to being the voice of the Belizean people.
The personnel feature: general manager, executive producer and host of “Wake Up Belize Morning Show,” Evan “Mose” Hyde; host of Senior Moments, Evan X Hyde; financial manager, Nelson Hyde; marketing/programming director and co-host of WUB, Sharon Marin; accounts and sales, Nathalie McKenzie.
Those on the technical side of things include operations facilitator, Warren Flowers; post production manager, Linda Blease; audio technician engineer, Cliff Lewis; director/master control operator/camera operator, Jorge Zelaya; camera operator, Deon Pitter; director/master control operator, Keran Rocke; master control operators, Shari Chaplin and Eduar Burns.
The roster of the station’s show hosts feature, Claudette “Tweetie” Plunkett as the host of “Spotlight MVS;” host of “The Adele Ramos Show” and accomplished Amandala journalist, Adele Ramos; host of “Sunday Review” and “WUB 2cents Cam” and camera operator, Yaya Marin Coleman; and host of “Women at Work,” Virginia Echols.
To-date, Krem television has six local programs running on air, including those mentioned above.
“I see nothing as a challenge; I see it as a test. There is no room for error in the television media business because you can’t take back your mistake; I love it! The thrill of it, especially when you go back and see your final product,” said Keran Rocke.
Sharon Marin, when interviewed about her role and participation on the team, noted, beaming with excitement, “It’s exciting and more enjoyable, fulfilling and intimate because of the stories that we receive.”
Krem television can be viewed on CBC, channel 56, on Central Cable Vision (CCV), channel 12, and on-air television UHF channel 15.
