Ombudsman office offering appointments

BELIZE CITY. Thurs. Mar. 25th 2021– Effective Monday, March 29th the officer of the Ombudsman will be opened to the public for walk-ins and will be offering appointments as well. A press release issued by the Officer of the Ombudsman on Thursday, March 26th outlines that the office has adopted safety protocols to protects its staff and as a result has put in place measures to be following while at the office.

Firstly as mention, appointments will be allowed to be made either by calling the office or emailing the ombudsman directly. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins will still be accepted. When coming to the office expect to get your temperature checked before entering and be prepared to reschedule if your temperature reading is too high.

All persons are required to wear a mask before entering and will also be asked to sanitize their hands. Every visitor will be required to sign a register upon arrival. And in cases where persons display flu-like symptoms, they will be asked to leave the office. Strict social distancing will also be observed between complainants the release noted.
