BELIZE CITY, Tues. Nov. 15, 2022

Let me start by giving Roque Matus, owner of M&M Engineering, big kudos for taking his team to this Cycling Championship where some of the best riders in the world always show up. They represented the Jewel and had to ride in the Belize National Kits as approved by the Cycling Federation of Belize.

The whole team performed reasonably well; but in Saturday’s Road Race, it was Fitzgerald “Palas” Joseph (who has had a Cycling Renaissance at the age of 55), who in his Category (Age 55-59) gave more than a good account of himself, his team and Belize by taking 2nd and with it the SILVER Medal. A big Congrats to Palas and the M&M Team!
