BELIZE CITY, Tues. Dec. 26, 2023
Shout-out to the Poor and Famous Youth Culture Club for hosting its 2nd Annual Christmas Dinner. The South Side neighborhood youths received donated items of 80 footballs, 20 toys, 10 children’s bikes, 80 plates of food and refreshments.
The youths were excited to know that they were cared for and thought of during the Christmas holiday. This is part of the “Sharing and Caring” initiative to keep young people off the streets and engaged in sports.
Larry Sutherland, Program Coordinator, was determined to give the youths a special treat for Christmas. This is the kind of love and support we want to have in our communities. Let’s continue to make a change and support the cause!
(AMANDALA Ed. Note: Larry provided a collage of some 70 pictures to show the youths in different groups receiving their gift items. Respect, Poor & Famous Culture Club!)
