DANGRIGA, Stann Creek District, Wed. Oct. 2, 2019– The Stann Creek Football Association (SCFA) hosted Week 4 games on Friday night, September 27, in its 1st Division Cup 2019 tournament; and then on Saturday, September 28, it held third place and championship games in the SCFA Smart U-13 Mundialito 2019 tournament, which was followed by an award ceremony. All games were at the Carl Ramos Stadium.

In the opener on Friday night, Pomona Impacts slaughtered Delille Jaguars, 6-nil, with goals from Raymond Peters (40’), Tyler Peters (60’, 88’ & 90’), Kevin Salguero (75’) and Jeremiah Vanegas (85’). And in the nightcap, Conquerors dropped Sarawee Bullets, 4-0, with a goal apiece from Trimaine Thompson (6’), Kareem Haylock (37’), Leonard Valdez (63’) and Daijon Daniels (64’).

Upcoming Week 5 schedule:

Friday, October 4
6:30 p.m. – Delille Jaguars vs Sarawee Bullets
8:30 p.m. – Pomona Impacts vs Silk Grass Ballers
SCFA Smart U-13 Mundialito 2019 Finals

In the 3rd place game, Pomona Warriors shut out New Site, 4-0, with a goal each from Kimanie Smith, Harrison Roches, Jr., Devon Serano and Kenyon Roches. The championship game was also a shutout, as Silk Grass Ballers won, 2-0, over Benguche, with a goal each from Erwin Palacio and Erie Estrada.

Individual Awards: MVP – Erwin Palacio (Silk Grass Ballers); Most Goals (Regular Season) – Tyron Castillo (Pomona Warriors); Most Goals (Playoffs) – Bradien Olivas (Silk Grass Ballers); Best Defence – Lincoln Bowers (Silk Grass Ballers); Best Midfielder – Harrison Roches, Jr. (Pomona Warriors); Best Coach – Harrison Roches, Sr. (Pomona Warriors); Best Manager – Madlene Aranda (Silk Grass Ballers); Fair Play Team – Harlem Team; Rookie Player – Eric Estrada (Silk Grass Ballers); Best Goalkeeper – Jamal Herrera (Pomona Warriors).
