BELIZE CITY, Thurs. Feb. 11, 2016–Good morning to you all. Welcome to Cricket Corner. The Harrison Parks Cricket Competition 2016, under the auspices of the Belize National Cricket Association, takes the opportunity to offer this week’s games schedule to you for Saturday, February 13.

In Zone One: Last year undisputed champion, Easy Does It goes up against Police in Lemonal; Western Eagles vs Bright Star in Sandhill; and Excellence vs Cashu Medicos in Lords Bank.

In Zone Two: Isabella Uprising vs Brilliant in Crooked Tree; Wicked Eleven vs Brave Union in Burrell Boom; and Sunrise vs Berlan in Bermudian Landing.

To captains concerned: Some of your players are still on suspension. These players, if they play, while under suspension, their team automatically loses that game. Not to be biased, I will not mention any names. You know who you are.

Players, let’s start the season with professional standard. Remember, your conduct speaks of and about you. It represents you at home and away.

Fans choose your team and venue. Make this year’s cricket season a success. Enough respect to all.

N.B. The picture below of Mrs. Florine Perez and her daughter, Alma, was taken while they were watching the finals in Flowers Bank last year, 2015, Easy Does It against Wicked Eleven. Just to have all doubts clear. These two cricket fans travelled from their beautiful village of Rancho Dolores to watch the game.
