An FFB release today confirmed that the National “A” Team will play another training “Friendly” match on Saturday night, June 29, at the FFB Stadium, this one against a more broad-based selection of players from the Premier League of Belize. The selection will again be coached by Marvin Ottley and Edmund Pandy, and the entrance fee to the game is only $5.00. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
We spoke by phone to Marvin this evening, and he confirmed that veteran midfield legend Norman “Tilliman” Nunez has agreed to appear with the PLB Selection in Saturday’s Friendly, which will hopefully raise some funds as well as provide some stiff competition for the National “A” Team, to help get them “battle ready” for the Gold Cup.
