Dear Belizean Patriots:
Today marks the second anniversary of June 7, 2019. This date shall live in infamy among patriotic Belizeans. On this date 2 years ago, GOB relegated all of Belize’s sovereign territory to [the status of] “disputed territory”. Belizeans must now wait for the ICJ to define Belizean territory.
To add insult to injury, today, a clear 6 months after receiving Guatemala’s claim against our territory, GOB has effectively kept Belizeans and the media in the dark as to what Guatemala is claiming. Where are our investigative journalists? We cry shame on the media for being GOB’s captive audience while Belize hangs in peril at the ICJ.
