BDFA Interim Committee U-15 football results

BELIZE CITY, Wed. Dec. 16, 2015–With four more weeks of regular season games now remaining in the Belize District Football Association (BDFA) Interim Committee U-15 Football Tournament, coordinated by Stanley “Jordan” Reneau, 4 more games were played on Sunday, December 13, at the MCC Grounds.

In game 1, City Boys dropped Collet Strikers, 3-1, with a goal each from Denroy Lopez, Jalen Babb and Kenroy Linares; while Wayne Ford got the only goal for Collet.

Game 2 saw Ladyville Rising Stars getting the 2-1 win over Carlston Strikers. Glendale Nunez struck twice for Rising Stars, while Alex Estelle scored for Carlston.

In game 3, it was Hattieville Riverside Boys, 4-2, over Ladyville Jaguars. Mario Rivera and Jadon McGregor scored 2 goals each for Riverside Boys, while Allen Anderson and Lyndon Flowers netted a goal apiece for the Jaguars.

And in game 4, Face of Belize crushed Berger United, 4-1. Mario Galindo and Jose Castellanos tallied 2 apiece for Face of Belize, while Demetrius Usher scored the only goal for Berger.
The race to the playoffs is already heating up, as only the top 4 teams will move on to the top-4 knockout semifinals. (See standings below.)

There are 9 regular season weeks in the competition, but Week #3 and Week #6 were rained out and will be played later as back matches.

11:10 a.m. – Face of Belize vs Ladyville Rising Stars
12:15 p.m. – Ladyville Jaguars vs Carlston Strikers
