GeneralClinton Uh speaks of many things
We see the two major political parties come and go; we see them change leaders and we see these leaders become prime ministers. Each of them does things differently, so it seems in the eyes of those of us who do not understand the way the intertwining of the Belizean political spider’s web works.

When we see these two giants put in their minds an idea without a rational explanation, we ask ourselves, why? And behind that “why” we try to figure out what evil is hidden for all that persistence. Why, Mr. Central Bank? Why, Mr. P.M. Dean Oliver Barrow? Why are you insisting for our credit union “St. Francis Xavier” to belong to the league of Credit Unions of Belize when we the members had already told the former Prime Minister of Belize NO.

You, Mr. P.M. and the Minister of Health, know by memory what it had brought because of Musa’s stubbornness. And the question rises once more, why? We are starting to suspect that it cannot be just for the $2.00 per person fee per year to belong to the “League of Credit Unions of Belize.” That is chicken feed; there must be something more powerful behind such a movement for you to join and follow Musa/Fonseca in such a venture. What do you see in our St. Francis Xavier Credit Union that we cannot see?

By the way, Mr. P.M. Barrow and Musa, don’t go with the idea that — well, we don’t think we need to remind Musa because he already knows that — Don Vicente Canul is not the owner of the “St. Francis Xavier Credit Union” and we don’t think we need to remind either of you that the BOARD OF DIRECTORS are not the owners of the “St. Francis Xavier Credit Union.” They are put by us the members and if they go against our order we will change them just as we did with the PUP/UDP, if you pass a Bill in which our credit union belongs to the Central Bank.

By the way, Mr. P.M., why don’t you nationalize all the banks of Belize under one umbrella; it would make things easier for the multi-organization; of course, you need to ask Papa U.S.; as you positively may know, without their blessings nothing can be done.

We are sure Papa U.S. will accept; they know how it works with tourism, as long as they control everything. As members of the St. Francis Xavier Credit Union, we believe that we need to have an urgent meeting. Oh! By the way, members are asking what is it that Central Bank is searching for. Stop playing the fool; you know exactly where to search for what you are looking, or ask the U.S. Embassy.

Well so, “nearly two tons of cocaine seized in Guatemala,” so said an article published in the Amandala on page 22 of the Sunday, September 27, 2009. What a great success for Guatemala — they are winning Mexico’s war against drug trafficking. The most interesting thing in this is that Belize is right in the middle of the business, but nothing happens here. Anyway, let us continue asking the corresponding authorities what do they see in the poor people’s bank that we cannot see. You control all the NGO’s and these control the members of the governments of Belize whom are also members of the established NGOs. Who can save us? Yo! El Chapulin Colorado!

Unfortunately, it does not work that way. It makes us laugh when we listen to our intellectuals who are convinced that the Constitution of Belize, the maximum laws of the land, is respected. One thing is to live in the clouds and another thing is to be on the ground, where the Constitution, with its preamble, is not applied.

It’s neglected by the same high authority. They talk about the freedom of association but in reality it is put aside and we are dictated what to do. Wasn’t that one of the reasons why we removed the Musa/Fonseca brotherhood? Is it that the powers of our system blinds our leaders so much that in a little while they tend to forget the existence of the people?
