Our apologies to owner/manager Patrick Flores and his Paradise/Freedom Fighters of Toledo for an error in our story in our mid-week issue titled “Emotions run high at MCC…”, where we stated that Orange Walk United suffered their first loss to Raymond Gentle-City Boys United, and the Freedom Fighters gained their first win over Third World FC in games last Sunday, March 13. In actual fact, Orange Walk had lost the previous week to the Freedom Fighters, so Sunday’s loss was O.W.’s second, and for the Freedom Fighters, Sunday’s victory was their second in the tournament.
Following is a summary of the first 3 weeks of competition in the Belize Bank Super League Tournament 2011, and the current standings:

Week 2: Hattieville Monarch FC1:1 Cayo South United; Griga Knight’s 2:1 Placencia Assassin; Paradise/Freedom Fighters 2:1 Orange Walk United; Raymond Gentle-City Boys United 5:1 Third World FC.
Week 3: Raymond Gentle-City Boys United 2:0 Orange Walk United; Griga Knight’s 5:2 Cayo South United; Paradise/Freedom Fighters 1:0 Third World FC; Placencia Assassin 1:1 Hattieville Monarch FC.
