Mango Creek still undefeated at Week 10 of FFB National Over-40

BELIZE CITY, Mon. Aug. 7, 2017–Kulture Yabra Veterans are no longer undefeated, as visiting Belmopan Veterans dealt Kulture their first loss, 4-2, yesterday at the MCC Grounds in Belize City. Meanwhile, out west at the Norman Broaster Stadium, home standing San Ignacio Quintas won, 3-2, over visiting BDF Veterans.

On Saturday, San Pedro Veterans jumped into the standings lead (by goal difference) after a 3-3 draw on the island against Benque Vets FC. Also on Saturday, Mango Creek Veterans are now the only undefeated team in the tournament, as they came away with a 1-1 draw at the MCC against winless Pickstock Lake-I Veterans.

The suspended Week 9 match between San Ignacio Quintas and Benque Vets FC is scheduled to be completed on Wednesday night, beginning at 7:00 p.m., with no fans in attendance. Benque was leading 2-1 when the game was suspended at the 68th minute.

Wednesday, August 9

7:00 p.m. – San Ignacio Quintas vs Benque Vets FC – Norman Broaster Stadium

7:30 p.m. – Belmopan Veterans vs San Ignacio Quintas – Isidoro Beaton Stadium

4:00 p.m. – BDF Veterans vs Pickstock Lake-I Veterans – MCC Grounds
4:00 p.m. – Benque Vets FC vs Kulture Yabra Veterans – Amin Hegar Field
