That’s it for No Limit; Western Ballaz to meet Tigersharks in NEBL Finals

In the decisive semifinal Game 3 between Belize City (SMART) No Limit and Cayo Western Ballaz at the Sacred Heart Auditorium in San Ignacio on Friday night, June 6, the Western Ballaz thrilled their many home fans with a convincing 75-57 win to clinch the series and earn a spot in the first National Elite Basketball League (NEBL) Finals against the waiting San Pedro Tigersharks. The Ballaz killed No Limit on the boards, almost doubling their total with a 62-38 margin. Farron Louriano was unstoppable, leading all scorers with 34 pts along with 18 rebs, and Richard Troyer added 17 pts and 16 rebs for the Ballaz; while Elsworth Itza, Matthew Young and Gregory Rudon managed 8 pts each for No Limit. The No Limit Soldiers exit the NEBL playoffs, while the Cayo Western Ballaz now gear up to face the San Pedro Tigersharks in the Finals.

Game 1 of the best-of-3 games championship Finals series will tip off at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, at the R. Angel Nunez Auditorium in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye.

Game 2 will be next Friday, June 20, starting at 9:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart College Auditorium in San Ignacio.

And Game 3, if necessary, returns to the R. Angel Nunez Auditorium in San Pedro.
